Every Candle Has A Story

I'm April and this is Hooked Flames. I started this small business back in the middle of 2024. My husband and little girl are always by my side, supporting me through life.

I began Hooked Flames because I didn't like working a job where I was away from my daughter for 8 hours at a time. I had previously tried candle making several years ago, and I just couldn't figure out how to make well-scented candles. I finally decided to dig down and do some research and testing! I found a wax that works perfect for what I do. I started selling my candles at craft fairs and have decided to open a website to reach more people.

I measure and pour every candle I make by hand. I'm not a big corporate candle making business, so I try to make every candle as perfect as I possibly can. That being said, I do only make small batches at a time at the moment. If a scent runs out, there is a pre-order option. I don't know that I ever want this to become a big corporate business, but I know I want to keep this as something I enjoy for years to come.

If you have a certain scent you want made, you can always reach out to me with any specific candle requests and I will do my best to make your dreams happen!
